Travel Advisory

for Foreign Nationals Planning to Visit Lviv

The ongoing Russia’s war against Ukraine continues to pose significant security risks throughout Ukraine, including Lviv region.

While the most intense fighting is concentrated in the eastern regions, no area is entirely free from the potential impact of military actions. Lviv, located in western Ukraine, has historically been considered safer due to its distance from the front lines. However, sporadic incidents, including missile strikes and disruptions to critical infrastructure, have occurred.

The conflict has strained local resources and infrastructure, leading to challenges in transportation, healthcare, and public services. The influx of internally displaced persons has added pressure on accommodations and essential amenities. Communication networks may be unreliable, and there is a heightened risk of cyber disruptions.
